Second-year M.Ed. student in the University of Georgia's Instructional Design and Development program (studying instructional design and technology, educational multimedia development, instructional product evaluation, project management, research methodology and design, video production, web development, and graphic design). Experience designing interactive e-learning with Captivate, developing web sites with Dreamweaver, developing multimedia with iMovie and Audacity, evaluating instructional products, and managing instructional design projects.

Graduate of the University of Washington's Virtual Worlds Certificate program, where I studied the design and development of immersive 3D virtual learning environments.

Over twenty years of experience working with technology in higher education and providing support for university faculty and staff with varying levels of technological comfort and expertise; rather than simply providing technical support, my role has typically been to build and maintain relationships with departmental faculty and staff. Extensive experience working both independently and within a team-based environment to recommend and implement technology solutions for a wide range of educational needs.

Currently open to new opportunities in the Atlanta area in instructional design, educational technology, training and development, and learning management system administration. An ideal position for me will take advantage of both my expertise with instructional design and technology and my extensive experience with information technology in higher education, while allowing me to explore my interests in e-learning, game-based learning, virtual worlds and immersive learning environments, leadership, motivation, engagement, and flow.
