Instructional Design Model

Sarah Bolen Marston and I (who founded the infamous Design Pirates team) developed this PowerPoint presentation of our interpretation of a model for the instructional design process. Although we experimented with different steps along the way, what we ended up with is essentially the ADDIE model, which is a concise yet comprehensive model that seems difficult to improve upon.
Action Plan

The primary purpose of the Action Plan was to have us put some serious thought into our educational / career goals, both in the IDD program and beyond (something that I had already been doing for some time). I developed this Action Plan summarizing the state of my thoughts at the time, both as a Word document and as a PowerPoint slideshow which I presented to the class.
Papers

I also wrote two papers on instructional design and technology for this course, one looking back at the history of instructional design and one looking forward to the future:

- Major Learning Paradigms of the 20th Century
- Future Trends and Issues
Just a sample of my work. To see more or discuss possible employment opportunities >>
